Hi,
Recently, I was added to FB groups by people who aren't my friends, we even don't have mutual friends.
Anyone know how did they do that? Maybe they used some kind of exploits?
It will be really helpful if we can learn to do it.

I've heard of this during political campaigns unwilling people were added to certain groups.

There must be some exploit.

nah, I received the notification that someone added me, and went to his profile, we aren't fb friends.
This might be an exploit that very very few people know how to use

No, I don't. And I dont think they used just emails on this case. Normally, if you add people to groups with emails, Facebook simply sends the invitations to their emails, not add them to the groups directly.

Maybe a friend added you and the admin accepted it and it shows that the admin added you, have you checked that?

I received a notification like this: "SomeStranger" invited you to join the public group "GroupName"

When I open the group, I'm already a member although I didn't accept any invitation. And yes, "SomeStranger" is a group moderator, but the notification said that he is the one invited me, not one of my friends.

I see some of my friends in the groups too, but when I asked ,none of them added me. They all joined the group the same way as me.

Back in time it was doable by just changing profile ID in Inspect (Ctrl+Shift+I) and then send. But if you do that today, it will say you "You cannot add this member, because you are not his friend".

i know that with my business page i was abale to create a group and i can add about 100 people every hour or so to the group... if they have liked my business page ever, i can add them.. maybe thats it?

How can you add people who liked your page to group?

I have a business page too, but when I tried I cant add liked people to group, just friends.

From the iphone app... go to your business group page and at the very top where it has your group name, right under there it will have a +ADD and you can click that and anyone in your business page will be there... it will only give you 100 at a time and it seems like every hour it adds 100 more...i have a 4000 member page and currently have 1.7k members in group, non of which joined on their own

Thank you for your interesting information. It doesn't work on my android phone, but I'll find an iPhone and see if it works. May I ask which version of FB app you are using? Because some methods only works on older versions, they fix them on newer ones.

One more question: does this method adds the likers to your groups instantly or they must accept the invitations first?

they are added instantly and i dont even know if they give an alert. i am on the most recent update for FB on the iphone in the us... also, on the destop page in your group you will see a pane on the right hand side that has the same ability... add to page
